A long, long time ago, I used to deliver in-store training to John Lewis staff – showing them how to help their customers decide what lighting would be best for their home. I loved this type of onsite training and am really pleased it’s now become part of what we can offer small businesses in and around St Albans.
How DigitalJen onsite training works
Well, basically the clue’s in the name. I’ll come to you and deliver training at your site – be that at your offices or at a venue that’s better suited if we need it.
Content
The training that I offer all revolves around the key thing that we do here at DigitalJen – helping businesses tell their story in our digital world. At the moment I’m working on content for
- Blogging for business
- Making your business social media more engaging
- Using imagery in your business, especially on social media and online
- Using the WordPress plugin Yoast SEO to improve your site SEO
- Instilling trust whilst telling your story online
I’m also happy to come and deliver my Canva course (part of my ‘kitchen table training‘ sessions) to schools – for teachers/support staff and/or pupils – anywhere where all delegates can be online together at the same time.
Before we start…
As much as I can come and deliver a training session ‘cold’, I’d much rather come and talk to you about your exact needs and requirements first. I want to know what level you want me to work at, what your want to achieve from the session, how long you want the session (or sessions) to be and why you think there’s a need for the training in the first place. The more I understand about the business, the more focussed the training can be.
Then what?
We set a time, a venue and go from there! Costs will depend on how long you want the sessions to be, where they are and the content but as a rough guide, a 4 hour course on social media for business is about £250.
