Finally – the DigitalJen blog! Except I’ve not called it a blog, I’ve called it “Our Stories”. During 2016 I realised that more and more of the work that I’ve been doing has been helping companies tell their story digitally – or digital story telling. Stories aren’t some fictional work that you read to children – they’re about us, what we do and how we do what we do.
One of the first parts of the DigitalJen story for 2017 is attending the How to get ahead in business (click on the link to book your ticket) event run by St Albans Businesses. This will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in London Colney on the 26th January from 10-1.
It’s quite exciting to be ‘exhibiting’ at our first event as DigitalJen. I’ve done my fair share of trade shows in my time (with sore feet and dehydration as standard) but this is looking to be really different. First of all, it’s only 3 hours – so no traipsing around hundreds of stands looking for the proverbial needle in a very large haystack.
There are going to be 30 businesses there – all with their own areas of expertise in business. As much as we’ll be there to explain what we do, the purpose fo the event is to help you get ahead in business – there’ll be some great guest speakers and the room will be packed full of knowledge just waiting to be shared. Oh, and did I say it was free…?
So I’ll be there – with the newest addition to the DigitalJen team – Natalie Atkins. Already christened DigitalNat (whether she wanted to be or not), I’ll introduce her properly in another blog post. Suffice to say I am over the moon to be working with her and she has been thrown very much into the deep end. She also likes cups of tea, toast & marmite and cake so all is well.
On the day, I’m offering free 15 minute consultancy slots for anyone that’s attending to come and pick my brain on all things websites, WordPress, social media, SEO, Canva, digital story telling, brand look & feel, getting your business to where you want it to be and about the consultancy and ‘Brand Blitz‘ services that I offer. I’ve got 8 slots available and to book, email natalie@digitaljen.co.uk – first come, first served!
If you are attending, do pop over and say hello – it will be lovely to meet you
